Born and raised in Wyoming, my film career began in action sports and documentaries inspired by the outdoors. Now based in Los Angeles, my visual style has been shaped across a variety of work, from commercial to narrative and everything in between. Drawing from experiences traveling and time spent studying in Montana for a bachelor's degree, compelling stories motivated through thoughtful imagery are what inspire me most.
The goal with every project is to achieve a look that feels unique in its motion, lighting, and feel. Translating the director's vision into a palatable visual experience that doesn't overpower the subject but rather pushes the concept further. Stepping outside the box creatively and trying something new is what drives me as a cinematographer.
